Boycott Israel Scarf nímhur Bláthnaid Ní Mhurchú artist collaboration with Teanga Ġrá

nímhur (a moniker of Irish artist Bláthnaid Ní Mhurchú) was invited by MEP Lynn Boylan, a member of An Chlé (Left Alliance) at the European Parliament, to design a scarf that would promote solidarity with Palestinians through sporting boycotts of Israel.

The Sport Is Political - Boycott Israel scarf was commissioned by Minister Boylan to give Irish football fans a way to show their opposition to Ireland playing against Israel in UEFA Nations League fixtures planned for autumn 2026.

This scarf is now winging its way to football clubs and fans across Ireland.

Teanga Ġrá is collaborating with @nímhur to offer custom scarves. Every scarf is unique and designed exclusively for your brand or message.

We love creating concepts, bouncing ideas with clients and incorporating a bit of Gaelainn into our scarves.

If you have a scarf in mind, we would love to chat to you about the possibilities. Get in touch via our contact page.

(Minimum orders of 50 scarves).
